Deep Forest Field School
Who
is Robin Hood Video Productions? That’s me, Kip Grosenick, producer
and videographer. I believe the world is full of compelling stories and through the telling we gain a better understanding of each other. I seek out passion
on a world-class level because I see passion as the fuel that gets things done.
Using the Robin Hood philosophy which applies my years of network television experience, plus the magic of video, I capture lightning in a bottle by telling
stories that ultimately enrich people’s lives.
Why am I
qualified to tell your story? For starters, my network television experience,
23 years total, includes 17 years with CNN, and 12 years covering politics which culminated in my
position as Political Unit Senior Producer. Additionally, my interview,
research, writing, and producing work can be seen regularly on ABC World News Tonight and Good
Morning America as well as The CBS Early Show, Fox News, Inside Edition, Home and Garden TV, The Discovery Channel, Speed TV and DIY Network. I
developed the concepts for, wrote, produced, and shot on Mini-DV,
segments for the Turner
South series, The Natural South, as well as TBS’ Interact Atlanta.
How do my
stories change people’s lives? I have produced videos that:
Preserve nature - Environmental videograper for Deep Forest Field School, Yahoo News
(see link below), and two
years as a producer on Turner South’s Award winning
environmental series, The Natural South (see Demos and Awards for a clip)
Provide housing - I have produced videos
for Habitat for Humanity on location in Belfast, N.
Ireland and Capetown, South Africa as well as
on a Jimmy Carter Work Project
Extend a community - My work on a video
for Atlanta Pet Rescue is helping them save more puppies
and kitties. So too has my work on An Introduction
to Cuong Nhu video, helped this martial arts organization
attract new students and extend this organization's reach
to include underprivileged kids
Help the disabled - I produced, shot and
directed a promotional/ marketing video for the U.S. Disabled
Athletes Fund and their America Series around their annual Atlanta
wheelchair race: The Meet in the Heat
